This policy explains what information Aurora Synapz Asset Management LLC ("Aurora Synapz," "we," "us") collects through our website and mobile application (together, the "Platform"), how we use it, and how we protect it.

Information We Collect

Account information — name, email address, and password (stored as a salted hash, never in plain text).
Financial information — your portfolio holdings, transaction history, deposit and withdrawal requests, and any proof-of-payment documents (e.g. wire transfer receipts) you choose to upload.
Communications — information you submit through our contact form (name, email, phone, and message).

We do not collect location data, advertising identifiers, or browsing data for tracking purposes, and we do not use cookies for advertising.

How We Use Your Information

To operate your account and portal — display your portfolio, process deposit and withdrawal requests, and maintain transaction records.
To communicate with you — deposit/withdrawal confirmations, account notices, and responses to inquiries.
To meet recordkeeping obligations associated with managing client funds.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Service Providers

To operate the Platform, certain information is shared with the service providers below, solely for the purpose of providing their service to us:

Alpaca Securities LLC — executes and custodies investment transactions made on your behalf within our pooled account.
Payment processors (e.g. Stripe), where enabled, to process card-based deposits.
Email delivery provider — to send account notifications.
Cloud hosting infrastructure — to run the website, mobile backend, and database.

We do not permit these providers to use your information for any purpose other than providing their service to us.

Data Storage & Security

All data in transit is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS.
Passwords are stored as salted hashes, never in plain text.
On our mobile app, your login session is stored in your device's secure Keychain, not in plain app storage.
Access to administrative functions is restricted to authorized account administrators.

Data Retention

We retain account and transaction information for as long as your account is active, and afterward as needed to meet recordkeeping and legal obligations. You may request deletion of your account by contacting us; certain financial records may need to be retained even after account closure to comply with applicable recordkeeping requirements.

Your Choices

You may review and update your account information at any time through the client portal. You may also disable Face ID app-lock in the mobile app's Account settings, or request account closure by contacting us.

Children's Privacy

The Platform is not directed to, and is not intended for use by, individuals under the age of 18.

Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the effective date above and post the revised policy here.
